The Tales of the Digital Entities is an interactive learning web browser experience that explores how common perceptions of A.I. in public discourse can be challenged through speculative interactive narratives. The project allows viewers to learn about A.I. through interactive storytelling, with three playful conversation-based stories unfolding through experimental interfaces that give audiences experiences of fictional worlds where humans and A.I. co-exist. These narratives provide novel interpretations of current and near-future relationships between humans and A.I that are informed by actual material limitations and possibilities of existing and emerging digital technologies. By sparking imaginative ideas and providing contextual awareness of A.I., the project aims to broaden audience perspectives on the potential for artificial intelligence.
